When we launched our children's interiors brand to coincide with the new school term, being shortlisted for a prestigious design award so soon was something we never expected.
Smallish is a national magazine founded by Estelle Lee. An inspiring read for discerning parents featuring fun fashion, interiors, family life, health, education and travel. The annual awards were judged be Bev Turner, Bryony Gordon, Eimear Varian-Barry, Carolyn Asome, Jakki Jones (aka Jakki Doodles) and Molly Gunn (aka Selfish Mother).
We managed to keep it under wraps prior to judging and were ecstatic to finally be awarded Gold in the Interiors brand category. We wanted to shout it from the 'top of the tower' and celebrate in the world famous ballroom with our families. Our children have always been our biggest champions and inspiration for the whole collection and they wore their winners t-shirts with pride.
Little Grey Cells Design debut collection is all about rainbows...little did we know there was a gold waiting for us at the end of it!
